Job Title: Statistical Analyst

Job Description:

The Senior Statistical Analyst is responsible for providing expert statistical analysis support to multiple clinical projects.

This role involves delivering key data-driven insights, developing analytical strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing lead statistical analysis support for multiple clinical research study projects or study teams.
  • Developing and implementing advanced statistical models using SAS and other relevant statistical software.
  • Ensuring sound methodologies are adopted by establishing proficiency of statistical techniques required for clinical trials research.
  • Delivering key deliverables based on established proficiency of regulatory requirements for clinical research E-submissions and/or study requirements for Sponsor, Regulatory, Investigator or Safety review meetings.
  • Developing analytical documentation and annotations including specifications, review of mock shells, adhering to relevant Standard Operating Procedures and contributing to standardization efforts.
  • Writing well-documented, efficient, and high-quality code, conducting code review, supporting cross-functional programming activities, and programming validation as needed.
  • Staying up-to-date with current statistical techniques to ensure adoption of sound methodologies.
  • Presenting statistical topics internally and may present at external conferences.

Key Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or related field plus 4 years experience as a statistical programmer in Pharmaceutical/CRO environment.
  • Understanding of GCP principles and other regulatory standards (e.g. FDA, EMA, and ICH guidance and recommendations) in Clinical Research.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to process scientific and medical data.
  • Strong statistical programming skills in SAS, familiarity with R, Python or other relevant statistical software considered beneficial.
