Industrial Automation Specialist

The primary function of this position is to develop, implement and maintain industrial automation systems. These systems play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of industrial processes.
Required Skills:
- Technical Knowledge:
- Detailed understanding of controls systems (DCS, PLC & SCADA) and field instruments (transmitter, sensors etc.)
- Familiarity with process and instrumentation diagram (P&ID)
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to review and analyze complex data
- Effective communication skills with ability to convey technical information to non-technical personnel

Other Responsibilities:
- Develop logic diagrams and human-machine interfaces (HMIs) for industrial processes
- Analyze and review P&ID drawings to ensure accurate process design
- Design control panels including components lists, loop drawings, cable schedules, and terminal schedules
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in engineering and commissioning of automation systems
- Engineering graduate in instrumentation & control, electronics or electronics & communication engineering
- Personal attributes: excellent interpersonal and communication skills, detailed oriented with ability to work safely in an industrial environment, creative and initiative-driven with self-motivation
