Job Description:

We are seeking a Corporate Credit Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will perform forward-looking fundamental credit analysis on borrowers, annual reviews, and limit renewals, support ad-hoc requests, and prepare periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate clients and undertake objective detailed due diligence of borrowers / industry.
  • Managing end-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per the Banks' credit processes and procedures collaborating with other stakeholders.
  • Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.
  • Preparation of periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio as necessary.
  • Support Relationship Managers/Senior Credit Analysts in the department on ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.
  • Audit management – Internal, External including regulatory inspections.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in either a bank or their a Global Capability Centre, asset manager, or rating agency environment.
  • Minimum experience of 7-8 years after Post Graduation (CA/CFA/MBA Finance or their equivalents).

Functional/Technical Competencies:

  • Experience of covering large corporates.
  • A good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg/CapIQ and similar systems.
