SAP Data Migration Technical Consultant

Job Description:

This is a technical consultant role that focuses on data migration using SAP. The primary responsibility would be to lead the effort of providing high-quality consulting solutions to customers at different stages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review proposals prepared by consultants and provide guidance.
  • Analyze solutions defined for client business problems to identify potential risks and issues.
  • Identify change management requirements and propose a structured approach to clients using multiple communication mechanisms.
  • Coach and create a vision for the team, provide subject matter training for focus areas, motivate and inspire team members through effective feedback and recognition.
  • Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives to provide high-quality consulting solutions to customers adhering to organization guidelines and processes.
Technical and Professional Requirements:
  • Implementation of S/4 Data Migration Projects with good understanding of data migration life cycle.
  • Expertise in SAP Business Objects Data Services/DMC/Syniti/Winshuttle with sound knowledge in RDBMS and SQL concepts.
  • Knowledge of ETL Admin activities, LTMC/LTMON, IDOC, BAPI an added advantage.
  • Ability to participate across mock and test cycles including test case preparation, defect fixing, client communication, and updates to project plans.
  • Knowledge of cutover plan and activities involved required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Technology – Data Migration – SAP specific Data Migration.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Good knowledge on software configuration management systems.
  • Strong business acumen, strategy, and cross-industry thought leadership.
  • Awareness of latest technologies and industry trends.
