Cloud Architect Job Description

As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our clients. With a strong background in architecture or engineering roles related to hybrid cloud solutions, you will have a proven track record of successful client engagements.

  • You will have proficiency in multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, IBM, Nutanix, and Neo Cloud, for applications migration, modernization, and data modernization.
  • Experience in architecting applications leveraging containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud native (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), hybrid/multi-cloud, hardware OEMs, network, security, microservices, FinOps, iPaaS and APIs, infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), and CI/CD pipelines is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture or 10 years in engineering roles related to hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency in multiple cloud platforms.
  • Experience in architecting applications leveraging containerization, cloud native, hybrid/multi-cloud, hardware OEMs, network, security, microservices, FinOps, iPaaS and APIs, infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles.
