Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead our cloud infrastructure team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Lead a team of engineers in implementing cloud infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and best practices

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering on AWS
  • Experience in leading small teams and resources
  • Preferred AWS Certification – Associate Solution Architect Cert, Professional cert is a plus
  • Deep experience with AWS resources, such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, EKS, Lambda, Infrastructure scripting, deployment of VPCs, Subnets, NACL, Route53, Kinesis, Serverless Technologies
  • Deep experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, EKS)
  • Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Experience with CI/CD technologies (GitLab)
  • Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting both Windows and Linux based environments
  • Experience with logging and monitoring (New Relic)
  • Experience in encryption and key management technologies
  • Experience with automation software (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, cfengine, Chef)
  • Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python)
  • Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
