We are seeking a seasoned Python backend developer to lead the development of AI-powered applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in backend architecture, real-time systems, and Python development.

  • Design and implement scalable Python-based backend services for AI-driven applications.
  • Create modular and maintainable codebases, including setting up repository structures and database schema design.
  • Lead and mentor developers through all phases of development from concept to deployment.
  • Develop APIs using FastAPI with robust validation using Pydantic and asynchronous capabilities.
  • Implement ORM and migrations using SQLAlchemy and Alembic.
  • Integrate task queues using Celery and background processing effectively.
  • Build and optimize database systems, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and related tools.
  • Integrate LLMs into backend systems to support conversational AI capabilities.
  • Use AI/NLP libraries such as NLTK, scikit-learn in production-level applications.
  • Implement containerization using Docker and maintain version control with Git.
  • Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth and reliable deployments.

The requirements include 5–6 years of experience in Python backend development, preferably in AI product environments. Proven experience in designing backend architectures from scratch for real-time or intelligent systems is also necessary.

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, Alembic
  • Celery, Purest, LLM-specific libraries (e.g., OpenAI SDK, HuggingFace)
  • AI/ML-related Python libraries: NLTK, scikit-learn
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and database design best practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker and basic knowledge of CI/CD tools and Git workflows.

Preferred qualifications include experience in multi-tenant or multi-service application design and exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
