Job Title: Senior Tax Leadership Role

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced tax professional to lead a team of individual contributors in the Corporate Tax functional area. This senior-level role requires strategic consultation with leaders companywide on tax matters, as well as decision-making and issue resolution regarding income tax and accounting discipline.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of Corporate Tax experience, including leadership experience. Chartered Accountant status and strong communication skills are also desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a team of individual contributors with low to moderate complexity and risk in Corporate Tax functional area
  • Provide strategic consultation to leaders companywide on tax matters
  • Develop and implement systems to compile information for various federal, state, and international income tax matters
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding income tax and accounting discipline of Corporate tax functional area to meet business objectives
  • Interpret and develop processes, policies, and procedures consistent with company values and federal, state, and international tax laws
  • Collaborate with and consult with peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers
  • Interact with external agencies, jurisdictional income tax authorities, and industry forums
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Corporate Tax
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Corporate Tax experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of Leadership experience
