Job Title: Digital Software Engineering Professional

A Senior Data Engineer is required to join our organization. This role involves developing high-quality data products that support business decisions and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop scalable, extensible, and highly available data solutions.
2. Deliver critical business priorities while ensuring alignment with the wider architectural vision.
3. Identify and address potential risks in the data supply chain.
4. Design and develop analytical data models.

Requirements:
1. First-class degree in engineering technology or a related field.
2. 9-11 years of experience in implementing data-intensive solutions using agile methodologies.
3. Proficiency in relational databases and SQL for data querying, transformation, and manipulation.
4. Experience in cloud-native technologies and patterns.
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to mentor and lead medium-sized components independently.

Technical Skills:
1. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) experience.
2. Hands-on experience building data pipelines.
3. Proficiency in two or more data integration platforms (e.g., Ab Initio, Apache Spark, Talend, Informatica).
4. Experience with big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Snowflake).
5. Database management and data warehousing concepts.
6. Programming languages commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
7. DevOps experience, including CI/CD platforms and automated quality control management.
8. Data governance principles and practices (data quality, security, privacy, compliance).
