The Role of a Content Strategist is to drive effective needs-based content and digital media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create insights and strategic responses to briefs - Campaigns, Interruptive or Needs-Based Content and New Product Development
  • Advocate for a 'mobile-first' and short-form content agenda in line with industry best practices
  • Evaluate ideas and concepts against strategy frameworks and mobile-first principles
  • Act as a content expert and advisor within the onsite team, working with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Provide guidance on approaches to effective content strategies that inform content briefs and requirements

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in a strategy role with content strategy as a core function. They should have a strong understanding of content marketing, including social, mobile, search, display, ecommerce, and digital OH&H.

Requirements
  • Deep understanding of content marketing, including social, mobile, search, display, ecommerce, and digital OH&H
  • Able to understand and interpret multi-channel insight reports
  • Proven experience of working in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Passionate about all things related to content, with a keen interest in keeping up-to-date with trends and technological advances
