We are seeking a skilled Java software engineer to play a key role in the development of our cloud-based applications.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining high-volume and low-latency Java-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Software Development Lifecycle: Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, ensuring that applications meet business objectives.
  2. Application Design: Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can handle large volumes of data while maintaining low latency.
  3. User Requirements Analysis: Analyze user requirements to define business objectives and ensure that application designs conform with business goals.
  4. System Features and Functionality: Envision system features and functionality, defining application objectives and ensuring that application designs meet business needs.
  5. Technical Design: Develop and test software, identifying and resolving technical issues as they arise.
  6. Design Documentation: Create detailed design documentation to support the development process.
  7. Infrastructure Development: Propose changes to current Java infrastructure and develop technical designs for application development.
  8. Testing and Debugging: Write well-designed, testable code and conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure that applications meet quality standards.
  9. Release Management: Prepare and produce releases of software components, ensuring smooth deployment and minimal disruption to users.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Java: Strong understanding of Java programming language and its ecosystem.
  • Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS or Azure.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
