Job Title: Team Lead - Intercompany Accounting

We are seeking an accomplished Team Lead with extensive expertise in intercompany accounting to lead our team and drive process improvements. This role involves managing a team of professionals, overseeing day-to-day operations, and resolving queries or problems.

  • Manage end-to-end IC processes, oversee team performance, and resolve queries/problems.
  • Understand the IC accounting process, learn the IC balances elimination logics set in Oracle FCCS.
  • Review month-end activities performed by the IC team, handle billing for IC transactions of US entities.
  • Review global IC BS and P&L variances, coordinate with stakeholders to resolve global IC variances.
  • Post top-side entries in Oracle FCCS for high-value variances that remain open at ME.
  • Review BS reconciliation of IC GLs in detail, ensure all necessary backups are available and well-documented, and provide feedback to team members with required action plans.
  • Timely follow-up with global Controllers on any pending data/open queries.
  • Handle queries from Audit and Tax teams.
  • Provide solutions to multiple stakeholders on ad-hoc and regular queries.
  • Establish effective communication between the team and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CA with 8+ years of work experience in Finance Controllership/Consolidations, Inter-Company Accounting.
  • Thorough knowledge of Consolidations accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience in handling Inter company accounting/IC ledger reviews/reconciliations.
  • Month-end close experience is required.
  • Transformation projects experience will be an added advantage.
  • Team handling experience is required.
  • End-to-end process knowledge of intercompany process.
Technical Requirements
  • Multiple ERP systems knowledge (SAP & QAD).
  • Consolidation Platform Experience (Oracle FCCS, Hyperion, Tagetik, Trintech etc.) - good to have.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Blackline - good to have.
