As a seasoned Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow between operational technology and information systems. Your expertise in designing, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure with high availability, low latency, redundancy, and security will be essential in driving business growth and continuous production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Network Infrastructure: Manage the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure to meet the operational needs of continuous production processes.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with production and IT teams to align network infrastructure with operational requirements.
  • Install and Configure Network Devices: Install and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points for optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot Network Performance: Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to identify potential bottlenecks and minimize downtime.

Implement network upgrades, expansions, and modernization initiatives that include security features and future-ready wireless infrastructure solutions like Private 5G and Wi-Fi 6.

Network Scalability: Ensure network scalability to support future production needs and business growth.

Network Security: Implement and enforce network security policies and controls in alignment with organizational policies.

Vendor Management: Develop relationships with network vendors and external partners to ensure timely delivery, implementation, and support for network hardware and services.

Documentation and Compliance: Oversee documentation and compliance with network management standards and protocols, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
