Job Role Overview

As a Deputy Manager MEP Design Electrical, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical design and infrastructure to meet the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve design documents from service consultants to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Perform comprehensive electrical load estimation, short circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and equipment selection.
  • Collaborate with architects and structural engineers to understand design intent and architectural drawings.
  • Coordinate with other services such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
  • Attend site visits, review and respond to RFIs and queries, and provide timely solutions.
  • Prepare and update trackers, design compliance reports, and coordinate document preparation for authority submission.

Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal resources and monitor project deliverables from consultants and contractors.
  • Review consultant invoices and variation claims.
  • Manage resources for in-house working and prepare micro schedules for deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 9-12 years of experience in electrical services, ELV services, and MEP real-estate industry.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Strong team player with positive approach to change.
  • Good people management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Auto CAD knowledge for review of drawings with basic drafting skill.
  • Experience with Etap and Dilux software.
