About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise API Gateway Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining API solutions using Axway API Gateway.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing system and product requirements, and generating software/hardware performance and reliability specifications and requirements.
  • Leveraging experience with various API gateways, including Axway, for global deployments of application architecture.
  • Advising application teams on developing high-quality APIs that comply with security standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, explain API concepts, and drive best practices.
  • Identifying and resolving complex API design and integration issues.
  • Validating WSDL and Swagger files and imports them.
  • Developing remediation plans to meet API security requirements.
  • Monitoring API traffic and troubleshooting issues related to performance, security, and availability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with designing, developing, implementing, and managing APIs.
  • Experience working with API design patterns and authentication & authorization controls using OAuth.
  • Experience working within an agile team (Scrum, Jira, Rally, etc.).

Key skills include strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication and documentation skills, and ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
