The Lead ETL/Big Data Tester is responsible for:

  • Executing user acceptance tests in QA labs with multiple machines/VMs.
  • Deploying product components across multiple machines/VMs.
  • Applying expertise in Big Data components like Hadoop, SOLR, Kafka, and other data sources for ETL.
  • Validating data sources, extracting data, applying transformation logic, and loading the data.
  • Debugging end-to-end issues.
  • Developing functional/non-functional test cases and strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with Python / Shell script / Java and automation.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of SDLC & STLC, Linux, and Networking concepts, including Layer 2/3 protocols and end-to-end data flow.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and Shell Scripting.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, SOLR, and Kafka.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
