Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Zone Control Validation Engineer to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited. As a Zone Control Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for validating the electrical control units (ECUs) of our vehicles, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate ECU HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) simulations to ensure compliance with system requirements
- Develop and execute test cases to identify and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with system developers to resolve observed system behavior
- Work with other system testers to improve the quality of HIL testing
- Bring maximum test automation from the beginning
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in ECU HIL validation
- Good understanding of system functions related to body electronics
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics/Instrumentation engineering
- Good command on any of the body electronics functions
- Ability to analyze requirements, develop test specifications, and execute test scripts
- Experience with UDS based diagnostic testing, DoIP, and dSPACE SCALAXIO Simulators
- Knowledge of ECU communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Flexray, and Ethernet
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Well-developed communication and teamwork skills
