Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and agile engineering professional to join our team responsible for developing cutting-edge Cloud based Security Solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to work in the rapidly expanding field of computer security, where you can leverage your skills and expertise to drive growth and excellence.

You will be working on network security solutions to deliver innovative products that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

This position is part of a multi-continent engineering effort, with opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing across different teams and locations.

  • Contribute to the design and development of appliance stack components.
  • Develop a deep understanding of product functionality, use cases, and architecture by interacting with team members and reviewing code.
  • Study and analyze documentation needed to accomplish tasks, including standards, RFCs, protocol specifications, network topologies, networking fundamentals, Linux platform fundamentals, virtualization, deep packet inspection, etc.
  • Debug issues reported by internal QA teams or in production by customers and suggest effective solutions.
  • Document design and test plans as part of development activities.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members, including the QA team, and collaborate to achieve project goals.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3-6 years experience in software development or testing in Networking Systems.
  • Ability to write and comprehend written code in C/C++ and/or Python programs.
  • Possession of a passion to build a career in embedded systems, networking, and network security systems.
  • Good academic record and strong reading comprehension skills to read technical literature of Network Security products.
  • Ability to operate Linux and Windows Operating System commands and related applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Client Server Programming skills, such as:
    • Debugging skills and ability to inspect packet captures.
    • Understanding of Linux boot loaders, grub, kernel compilation, and networking stack internals, TCP/IP knowledge.
    • Knowledge of one or more protocols used in Network Security systems.
    • Knowledge of VPN, AAA, ACL, VLAN technologies.
    • Working knowledge of deployment of Virtual Machines such as VMware.
    • Good understanding of Database concepts and good working knowledge with Oracle/PLSQL/Postgres.
