Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our Beauty and Home business in the West India and Pakistan region. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing businesses and relationships with key accounts and distributors in the region, delivering budgeted sales growth, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver budgeted sales growth for the territory of West India and Pakistan for the Beauty and Home segment.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and build an opportunity pipeline to deliver business growth.
  3. Manage distributors in the region, handling and supporting distributor teams to deliver business growth targets.
  4. Grow Lubrizol business with a focus on global and regional key accounts, protecting core business, identifying, and developing new opportunities through collaboration and innovation.
  5. Demonstrate strong technical expertise for the promotion of functional and active product portfolios and overall Beauty & Home formulation understanding to analyze customer need gaps and collaborate for solutions.
  6. Develop business relationships with designated accounts across functions and strengthen partnerships.
  7. Gain understanding of key customer strategies and customer needs to offer suitable solutions by aligning with Lubrizol strategies and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. Develop, implement, and communicate key account plans on a periodic basis.
  8. Identify and explore new business development opportunities by working closely with R&D, commercial, and marketing teams at designated accounts.
  9. Collaborate and effectively communicate with internal teams of marketing, technical, and supply chain to achieve assigned volume/value growth.
  10. Budgeting and forecasting accurately to assist the supply chain team to manage inventory and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  11. Effectively use various sales management tools, including CRM, pricing, and market research.
Requirements

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably B.E./B.Tech.) in chemical, cosmetics, or related science.

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional sales experience in the Personal & Home care Industry and strong connections with customers in West India.
  • Strong knowledge of the Personal and Home care market.
  • Technical/chemical background to cater to Beauty & Home segments.
  • Willing and able to travel.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen skills.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities and a strong drive for results.
  • Demonstrated successes in implementing new product, solution, technology, and value selling programs.
