Purpose of the Job

The role involves supporting Nouryon's Digital Support DevOps team by ensuring alignment with business requirements, compliance with industry best practices, and delivering exceptional application experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and understand their needs.
  • Provide outstanding customer support and resolve issues promptly.
  • Analyze complex technical problems and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Contribute to team planning activities, backlog prioritization, and management.
  • Identify and escalate any application issues or risks to the team, suggesting resolutions.
  • Improve development processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of development activities.
  • Develop strategies and frameworks to address emerging demands.
  • Drive innovation and adoption of industry practices through investigation and institutionalization of new tools, methods, and standards.
  • Effectively interact with stakeholders, documenting support processes and solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and evolving applications and systems.
  • Create documents, ensuring they are reviewed and approved by relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in estimating user stories in story points, committing required efforts.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like EPiServer/Optimizely.
  • Resolve production incidents or defects as needed, proactively identifying potential issues.
  • Drive high performance and accountability for personal deliverables.
  • Actively participate in sprint activities and ceremonies.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and diagnosing application issues using tools like New Relic, AppDynamics, or similar APM solutions.
  • Experience in identifying performance bottlenecks, providing recommendations for improvement knowledge of some of the tools/platforms such as ASP.NET, C#, SQL, EPiServer CMS, EPiServer Commerce, EPiServer Find, EPiServer Forms, Episerver Content Delivery API, EPiServer Deployment API, EPiServer DXP. REST API. in River-Control center, Enrich, Rest API. Azure-OAuth, Azure Storage, Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines.
  • Experience in GIT.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automating support tasks and workflows.
  • Expertise in analyzing application logs to identify errors, exceptions, and performance indicators.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Technologies, Solutions Development, Digital Experience.
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps teams.
  • Ability to effectively manage and resolve application-related incidents, including performing root cause analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
