Red Envelope Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Senior Private Equity Tax Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on income tax matters and assisting with regulatory compliances and registrations under various SEBI and IFSC regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Income Tax Advisory: Provide expert guidance on income tax matters, including tax planning and compliance.
  • Regulatory Advisory & Compliance: Assist with regulatory compliances and registrations under various SEBI and IFSC regulations, such as AIF, PMS, etc.
  • Transaction Advisory: Support buy-side and sell-side deals, including due diligence and transaction structuring.
  • Regulatory Applications: Handle applications to regulatory authorities, including IFSC, SEBI, and RBI.
  • Income Tax Litigation: Manage assessments, reassessments, and appeals related to income tax.
  • Jurisdictional Analysis: Evaluate foreign investment structures into India, considering tax implications and regulatory requirements.
  • Offshore Fund Structuring: Advise on offshore fund setups and strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in private equity tax advisory or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
