About the Position:

We are seeking an accomplished Network Infrastructure Specialist to spearhead our network architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructure across various locations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, manage, and troubleshoot complex network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other security appliances.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of network-related issues.
  • Create technical documentation, network diagrams, inventory control documentation, incident reports, change management documents, and security documentation.
  • Conduct daily performance checks on network and security devices.
  • Deploy and maintain access lists and firewall policies for high-throughput environments.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive firewall, VPN, and IDS/IPS solutions.
  • Design and implement Cisco IP phone systems.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in networking.
  • Familiarity with addressing, sub-netting, routing, switching, VLANs, VTP, STP, NAT, VPN, VRRP, HSRP, and other advanced networking concepts.
  • Proficient experience in Sonicwall is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network devices including ASA, network switches, routers, and network load balancers.
  • Strong knowledge of firewall policies, NAT rules, IP SLA, VoIP, SIP, IPSec VPN, IDP & IPS, RADIUS, and TACACS.
  • Strong knowledge of protocols including MPLS, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, QoS, GRE, NetFlow WAN, Voice over IP (VoIP), SIP/SIP-T technologies.
  • A good level of experience implementing and administering common TCP/IP-based services including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
  • Evaluate, implement, and monitor incoming network change requests.
  • Participate in peer review of new or modified LANs/WANs/VoIP strategy and advise on impact of proposed network changes.
  • Experience with standard network and security change and configuration control policies.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring and administration tools including Solarwind, Nagios, and OpenNMS.
  • Should know the difference between OSPF and EIGRP protocol.
  • Must be able to work effectively with little supervision as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to respond to production issues on a 24x7 basis and extending beyond normal working hours.

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma with certification in technical courses.
  • CCNP certified.
