HPC Cluster Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled HPC administrator to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux/Unix systems, HPC cluster administration, and workload managers (SLURM, PBS, LSF, etc.). They should also be proficient in shell scripting and automation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining, optimizing, and securing HPC clusters to support demanding computational workloads across various domains
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting hardware/software issues
- Managing workload schedulers (e.g., SLURM, PBS, LSF)
- Implementing and overseeing backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Collaborating with researchers, engineers, and IT teams to optimize usage
- Automating system tasks using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience with Linux/Unix systems and HPC cluster administration
- Strong knowledge of workload managers (SLURM, PBS, LSF, etc.)
- Experience with networking and storage in HPC environments
- Proficiency in shell scripting and automation
