Payroll Implementation Consultant Expert

Equiniti, a leading provider of shareholder, pension, remediation, and credit technology, seeks a skilled Payroll Implementation Consultant to join its team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge software solutions and contribute to the company's vision of being the leading global share registrar.

The Payroll Implementation Consultant will play a vital role in providing day-to-day support for Equiniti's core pensioner payroll software, 'PenServer and Compendia'. Key responsibilities include working closely with the Head of Payroll Delivery, Payroll Implementation Analysts, Developers, Testers, and Business subject matter experts to ensure accurate and timely pension and annuity payments for internal customers and hosted/own-site clients.

In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent team player skills, be highly consultative when working with internal and external clients, and have previous experience in payroll administration and/or management or business and systems analysis working on payroll systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the rapidly evolving payroll industry, with a focus on Real Time Information (RTI), Pay as you earn (PAYE), and Payment systems. You will also have the chance to work with a range of software tools and programming languages, including SQL Server and Microsoft Office.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Analysis of payroll requirements from user requirements or feasibility studies
  • Technical Design Authority role in projects requiring significant design input
  • Providing consultancy to smaller projects and clients on application of Equiniti software
  • Participating in planning, development, and delivery of client training
  • Monitoring systems design and implementation for consistency and re-use of previously developed ideas and software
