Business System Analyst Job Description

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for analyzing business needs and developing solutions to meet those needs.

The Business System Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop effective solutions.

Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements
  • Develop and implement solutions to meet business needs
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Manage budgets and make informed decisions about resource allocation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in the technology industry, preferably related to application development, infrastructure / architecture and / or research
  • Experience in the financial services industry is highly preferred
  • Strong background in business analysis and systems analysis
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and presentation
  • Ability to communicate technical topics to a non-technical audience
  • Effective stakeholder management and partnering skills
  • Delivery-focused, result-oriented leadership style
