Job Title : Nodejs Expert


Timings - Flexible schedule to accommodate US and IST time zones


Location : Remote (global opportunities)


Employment Type : Full-time


Role : Node.js Expert (with MongoDB, JavaScript, MERN Stack, Module Management, and Application Development)


Key Responsibilities :


  1. Backend Development : Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
  2. API Development : Design and implement RESTful APIs using Express.js for seamless communication between the server and client-side applications.
  3. Database Integration : Integrate MongoDB as the primary database system, designing schemas, and implementing efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms.
  4. Frontend Integration : Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate server-side logic with frontend components developed using React.js in the MERN stack.
  5. Module Management : Utilize module bundlers like webpack or Parcel.js to manage dependencies and optimize frontend code for production.
  6. Application Architecture : Architect and implement scalable and maintainable application architectures using the MERN stack, adhering to best practices and design patterns.
  7. Code Optimization : Optimize application code for maximum performance and efficiency, minimizing response times and resource usage.
  8. Testing and Quality Assurance : Write unit tests and perform thorough testing to ensure the reliability and stability of the application, utilizing testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
  9. Deployment and DevOps : Deploy applications to cloud platforms like AWS or Heroku, utilizing containerization technologies such as Docker, and implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
  10. Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, modules, and application architecture, ensuring clarity and ease of understanding for other team members.


Requirements :


  1. Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from IIT/IISc/BITS Pilani or equivalent.
  2. Experience : Proven work experience as a Node.js developer, with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating expertise in MongoDB, JavaScript, and MERN stack development.
  3. Skills : Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js runtime environment, experience with backend frameworks/libraries such as Express.js, strong understanding of MongoDB and database design principles, experience with frontend development using React.js in the MERN stack, familiarity with module bundlers like webpack or Parcel.js, knowledge of version control systems such as Git, and experience with containerization and deployment technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
