Job Description

Logistics Solutions Specialist - Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Solutions Specialist who can leverage their technical and functional expertise in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of transportation and logistics processes, with the ability to design effective OTM-based solutions.

The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze logistics processes, and configure, customize, and implement various OTM modules covering order management, planning, execution, visibility, and settlement.

Key responsibilities will include conducting workshops, end-user training, and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure effective use of OTM functionalities. Additionally, the individual will prepare and maintain technical specifications, design documents, test plans, and implementation guides.

Performance tuning and bug fixes will also be a key part of the role, as well as staying updated with OTM product developments and industry trends to suggest process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)

Strong hands-on experience in OTM configuration and customization, including order management, planning, execution, and settlement.

SQL / PL-SQL

Proficiency in writing queries, data mapping, and backend support for OTM systems.

Java / XSLT

Experience in OTM customizations and integration components using Java and XSLT.

Web Services (SOAP/REST)

Knowledge of system integration using Web Services (SOAP/REST).

ERP Systems Integration

Experience in integrating OTM with ERP systems, especially Oracle EBS/Fusion.

Cloud Technologies

Knowledge of On-Premises to Cloud migration, including cloud technologies.

Reporting Tools

Experience in using reporting tools such as Oracle BI Publisher or similar.

Ticketing & Project Tools

Proficiency in using ticketing and project tools like JIRA or ServiceNow.
