Afynd is seeking a talented and experienced PHP Full Stack Developer to join our team.

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to take on the entire development lifecycle, from designing and building user interfaces to writing clean, efficient backend code using PHP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Frontend Development:
    • Create user-friendly and responsive website layouts using HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks.
    • Implement interactive features with JavaScript (jQuery preferred) and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
    • Collaborate with designers to translate visual mockups into functional web interfaces.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest front-end trends and technologies.
  • Backend Development:
    • Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable web applications using PHP.
    • Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
    • Integrate data from various backend services and databases.
    • Develop robust back-end modules with efficient database interaction.
    • Implement authentication, authorization, and security measures to protect user data.
    • Troubleshoot application and code issues to ensure smooth operation.
    • Contribute to API development and integration with front-end components.
  • Full-Stack Collaboration:
    • Gather and refine technical requirements based on user stories and project specifications.
    • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the development team.
    • Maintain clear and concise documentation for code, processes, and APIs.
    • Oversee website functionality and performance, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Contribute to website maintenance, expansion, and scaling efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in full-stack web development with PHP.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in PHP programming (OOP concepts preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript (jQuery preferred) and front-end development best practices.
  • Experience with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
  • Understanding of web server administration concepts.
  • Basic understanding of version control systems (Git preferred).

Highly Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API integration techniques.
  • Knowledge of caching mechanisms and performance optimization strategies.
  • Experience with security best practices for web applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
