Cloud Architect Job Description

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of hybrid cloud architectures. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating on-prem systems with industry solutions, leading the modernization of legacy infrastructure using virtualization, containers, and automation & AI, and providing technical leadership in planning and executing cloud migration strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement hybrid cloud architectures integrating on-prem systems and industry solutions.
  • Lead the modernization of legacy infrastructure using virtualization, containers, and automation & AI.
  • Provide technical leadership in the planning and execution of cloud migration strategies.
  • Ensure compliance, security, governance, and sovereignty across hybrid environments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business goals and technical constraints.
  • Champion infrastructure-as-code, automation, and DevOps practices for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, and reusable templates.

 

Required Skills & Expertise:

Proficiency in scripting and automation (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash). Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Strong hands-on experience with at least one domain: server, storage, network, or solutioning.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of compliance and security frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, ITIL).
