Job Opportunity: Textile Designer

We are seeking a creative and skilled Textile Designer to develop innovative textile designs for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create textile designs for apparel, home furnishings, and accessories.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure designs meet market trends and customer needs.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Select appropriate materials and colour palettes for designs.
  • Prepare technical specifications and production-ready files for manufacturers.
  • Participate in fittings and product evaluations to ensure design integrity during production.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD programs.
  • Strong understanding of textile materials, printing techniques, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to create mood boards, sketches, and prototypes.
  • Excellent colour sense and an eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
