Senior Global Process Owner Job Description

This position is responsible for the end-to-end delivery, maintenance, and improvement of designated processes. The successful candidate will act as a point of contact for the Quality System Owner and Line Function Representative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for process delivery, maintenance, and improvement.
  • Act as point of contact for Quality System Owner and Line Function Representative.
  • Lead process mapping activities and coordinate with Business Process Excellence Experts.
  • Ensure oversight of controlled documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Working Practices (WPs).
  • Coordinate with authoring teams to provide guidance on procedural document content.
  • Drive harmonization and simplification of processes across different controlled documents.
  • Support Quality System Owner in monitoring and analyzing regulatory changes.
  • Monitor and analyze the impact of procedural changes on owned procedures.
  • Lead cross-functional process improvement and change management activities.
  • Ensure new business processes are aligned and delivered globally and functionally by responsible parties.
  • Provide valuable input into training strategy through collaboration with Training Lead(s).
  • Design, develop, and maintain metrics in collaboration with Global Line Functions, Compliance, and Quality.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Quality Indicators (KQI), when relevant, and assess deviation trends.
  • Responsible for oversight and management of risks related to designated processes.
  • Participate in Annual QS review under the direction of the Quality System Owner.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and/or failure mode effect analyses (FMEA) as applicable and develop CAPA in alignment with Author (Lead SME), as required.
  • Develop CAPAs and measure CAPA effectiveness for deviations/quality incidents, audit, and inspection findings pertaining to owned processes.
