Expert Oligonucleotide Chemist

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Scientific Officer to lead oligo synthesis and analytics for groundbreaking therapeutic and diagnostic programs. This role involves delivering precision-driven solutions in genomics and beyond.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD-level background in oligonucleotide chemistry, with strong knowledge of phosphoramidite chemistry, purification, and analytics. They will be responsible for running and troubleshooting automated solid-phase synthesis, scaling synthesis to mmol level, purifying and characterizing oligos, maintaining lab instrumentation and inventory, and driving cross-functional method development and QC initiatives.

Key qualifications include:

• PhD + 2–5 yrs experience in oligo synthesis and analysis.
• Strong foundation in phosphoramidite chemistry, purification, and analytics.
• Bonus: experience with modified or therapeutic oligos, digital PCR/BEAMing.
