Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled MERN Stack Software Engineer to join our development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js. Your expertise in front-end and back-end development will ensure the smooth operation of our web applications, and your ability to work collaboratively with our cross-functional teams will enable us to deliver high-quality products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
  • Work with MongoDB to create and maintain databases, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
  • Build RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js to support front-end functionality and ensure seamless communication between client and server.
  • Develop user interfaces and front-end components using React, ensuring an optimal user experience across devices and browsers.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, innovative products.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Conduct code reviews and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and application reliability.
  • Collaborate with the team using Git for version control and ensure continuous integration and deployment.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MERN Stack: Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
  • JavaScript Expertise: In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), including frameworks and libraries commonly used in web development.
  • Front-End Technologies: Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks, with a focus on React.
  • Database Knowledge: Proficient in designing and managing databases using MongoDB, including data modeling and schema design.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Qualifications

We require the following qualifications for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in MERN stack development.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with an understanding of web development best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
