Fabrication Operations Manager

Effective manufacturing professionals are required to oversee daily production operations, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning & Execution:
    • Schedule and Coordinate Fabrication Activities: Plan and supervise fabrication activities to meet production schedules, allocate tasks, and monitor workflow for maximum efficiency.
    • Maintenance of Raw Materials and Tools: Ensure availability of raw materials and tools necessary for smooth production operations.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Inspect and Certify Products: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all fabricated components meet design specifications and quality standards.
    • Corrective Actions: Identify and address any quality issues, implement corrective actions for defects and non-conformities.
  • Team Management:
    • Leadership and Development: Lead, motivate, and train a team of fabricators, welders, and operators on best practices, safety protocols, and quality standards.
    • Performance Monitoring: Monitor attendance, performance, and resolve shop-floor issues effectively.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Safety Protocols: Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
    • Audits and Corrective Measures: Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective measures as needed to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Optimization and Cost Reduction: Identify areas for process optimization and cost reduction through Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.
    • Welding, Cutting, and Assembly Processes: Suggest improvements in welding, cutting, and assembly processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Production Reports: Maintain accurate daily production reports, material usage records, and downtime logs.
    • Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment servicing and repairs.
    • Delays and Issues: Report production delays and issues to management promptly.
