We are seeking a seasoned Senior Analog Design Engineer to fill this role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in characterizing analog mixed-signal macros and developing timing models for AMS designs.
Key Responsibilities:- Analog Mixed-Signal Macro Characterization: Develop and maintain accurate characterization of analog mixed-signal macros, ensuring consistency and correctness across various formats.
- Timing Model Extraction and Validation: Extract and validate analog-digital interface timing models using Hspice simulations, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Methodology and Flow Improvements: Continuously improve design methodologies and flows using automation techniques such as shell/perl/tcl or python, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing clear and concise communication on design progress, challenges, and solutions.
- 3-4 Years of Experience: Proven track record of hands-on experience in library characterization for AMS macros.
- NanoTime Expertise: Must have experience working with NanoTime.
- Timing Fundamentals: Solid understanding of timing fundamentals.
- Automation Skills: Proficiency in automation tools such as shell/perl/tcl or python.
- Hspice/Spectre Simulator Familiarity: Experience with Hspice/Spectre simulators is highly desirable.
The selected candidate will possess excellent organizational and methodical skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
