As a Sr IT Technologist, you will architect and own the Microsoft 365 ecosystem for our organization. You will ensure that we deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions that meet the business needs and align with the IT strategy. You will also collaborate with other IT Technologists, stakeholders, and vendors to plan, execute, and support Collaboration and Productivity projects and initiatives.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Design, implement, and maintain the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, Power Platform, OneDrive, Teams, and other applications.
  • Design, implement, and configure SharePoint solutions to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Manage and maintain SharePoint farms, servers, and services, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define SharePoint site architecture, navigation, and security settings.
  • Develop and implement governance policies, best practices, and standards for SharePoint usage and content management.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SharePoint functionality.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance and scalability of SharePoint sites and services, including implementing backups, disaster recovery, and security measures.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in SharePoint technologies, as well as best practices in collaboration and document management.
  • Assist with the management of the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Create and maintain documentation for the environments and solutions.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of IT experience or 7+ years experience with Master degree
  • 5+ years experience (3+ years experience with an advanced degree).
  • 1+ years Master data experience/knowledge.
  • 1+ years technical or business analyst experience.
  • 4+ years experience in managing SharePoint environments (online and on-premise)
  • 4+ years experience in managing OneDrive.
  • 2+ years experience in managing Power Platform and Power Apps.
Nice to Have
  • Strong knowledge and skills in Microsoft 365 administration, configuration, and integration, including PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience in SharePoint administration, with a strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, infrastructure, and configuration.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint administration tools and technologies, including SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, SharePoint Designer, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with SharePoint migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint security principles and best practices, including permissions management and user authentication.
  • Strong proficiency in administering and configuring the Microsoft Power Platform Suite and its licensing model, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team, and to manage multiple projects and priorities.
