Job Title: High-Performance Computing Systems Professional

We are seeking a skilled High-Performance Computing Systems Professional to join our team. As a key member of our HPC team, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining our HPC clusters.

About the Role:

  • Administrate and maintain HPC clusters to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Manage user accounts for HPC onboarding and offboarding to ensure seamless access and security.
  • Create and maintain AMI images in AMI accounts to support cluster deployment and management.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems on HPC clusters to ensure stability and reliability.
  • Support HPC components and native services by coordinating with providers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain compliance controls to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality services.
  • Coordinate with other teams for testing and migrating applications to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Manage job schedulers such as Slurm or LSF to optimize resource allocation and usage.
  • Utilize node provisioning tools like Werewolf to streamline cluster deployment and management.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to users to ensure prompt resolution of problems.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of the HPC environment to meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience in HPC system administration is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in Linux OS administration is required to manage and maintain HPC clusters.
  • Knowledge of job schedulers and node provisioning tools is necessary to optimize resource allocation and usage.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities are required to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Linux+ certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Top Secret Clearance: TS/SCI is preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Very good written and presentation skills with customer interfacing experience.
  • In-depth requirement understanding skills with analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Interpersonal efficiency and positive attitude are essential for this role.
