Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Description:

This is a high-level role that oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale data systems.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing data warehouses, as well as developing ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into these systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement data warehousing solutions using dimensional and fact tables
  2. Develop ETL workflows and mappings using appropriate data load techniques
  3. Analyze and resolve problems with ETL processes
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business information needs into well-defined data requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in data warehousing, data engineering, or data integration projects
  • Expertise in data warehousing concepts, strategies, and tools
  • Strong SQL background
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies such as GCP, Google BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Composer (Airflow), Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Function, and GCS
  • Familiarity with APIs, XML, JSONs, and other integration protocols
  • Experience with Informatica Power exchange for Mainframe, Salesforce, and other new-age data sources
  • Good understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum processes
  • Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
