User Experience Designer for Digital Products

As a UX Designer for a Geospatial AI platform, you will be responsible for owning the design strategy and user experience of the digital product. This includes creating and validating wireframes, prototypes, and design systems that bring simplicity, trust, and impact to farmer-centric experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a design strategy aligned to business and product goals.
  • Translate product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fi designs using Figma and Miro.
  • Define and maintain design systems, UI patterns, and style guides to ensure visual and functional consistency.
  • Partner with Product Owners to convert epics and user stories into design deliverables with clear acceptance criteria.

You will conduct end-to-end user research: interviews, field visits, surveys, and usability testing with farmers, partners, and other stakeholders. You will then translate feedback into actionable design improvements, balancing usability, accessibility, and technical feasibility.

Your role will involve championing UX for rural contexts: vernacular flows, low-bandwidth/offline-first design, accessibility, and culturally relevant trust cues. You will collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure pixel-perfect handoff, clarity on design specifications, and smooth implementation.

Requirements
  • 5–8 years in UX design, with at least 3 years designing for mobile-first products at scale.
  • Proven experience shipping customer-facing or mass-market apps with measurable adoption and engagement impact.
  • Hands-on experience conducting field research and usability testing with diverse user groups.

Expertise in Figma / Adobe XD, prototyping tools, information architecture, interaction design, visual hierarchy, user research, usability testing, A/B testing, iterative design practices, and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS are essential. Leadership competencies such as clear communication, advocacy for user needs, decisiveness, detail-orientation, and adaptability are also required.
