Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a senior software engineer to work with our team of engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-performance and user-friendly experiences to customers.

As a senior leader, you will be responsible for mentoring junior team members, informing investments in front-end engineering, and shaping the technical roadmap for front-end investments.

  • Collaborate across project management, product, and engineering teams to design and build customer-centric experiences.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Develop and implement user-facing features using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Ensure the responsiveness and compatibility of applications across various devices and browsers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend-related issues to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of software development experience as a software engineer or related role.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React or Vue.
  • Experience working with NodeJS and NoSQL is a plus.
  • Experience with common front-end development tools, frameworks, and libraries.
  • Experience working with HTML/CSS and popular design frameworks.
  • A proven track record of building and shipping web applications with a focus on user experience and performance.
  • Experience with frontend build tools and bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme) and experience writing unit and integration tests.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest front-end trends, techniques, and best practices.
