Financial Analyst - Portfolio Valuation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in providing valuation and monitoring services for portfolio investments.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with financial modeling, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough valuations of illiquid investments across various industries
  • Develop and maintain detailed valuation models, memos, and presentations
  • Conduct independent research to gather relevant data for investment models
  • Craft clear and concise responses to client queries
  • Prioritize and execute multiple assignments within tight deadlines
  • Maintain high-quality standards and adhere to industry best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in valuation and financial modeling, including discounted cash flows, market multiples, and market transactions
  • Familiarity with US/European primary and secondary markets
  • Strong Excel modeling and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Achieving Excellence:

  • Knowledge of third-party databases such as Bloomberg, CapIQ, or Thomson Reuters
  • Hands-on experience with VBA macros
  • Sector knowledge in Real Estate, Shipping, Aircraft, and Oil & Gas

Educational Requirements:

  • MBA or equivalent qualification in finance from a reputable institution
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics with CFA Level II completed
