Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into robust cloud data architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end data architecture on GCP including ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption layers.
  • Develop scalable and secure data pipelines using tools such as Dataflow, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and Dataproc.
  • Lead the modernization of legacy data platforms to GCP, including migration strategy and implementation.
  • Create data models and design data lakes/warehouses to support BI, ML, and analytics use cases.
  • Implement data governance, security, access controls, and data quality frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Data Scientists to meet business requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture roles, with 3+ years specifically on GCP.

• Deep expertise in GCP services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, GKE, etc.
