Estimated Salary: ₹850,000 per annum

As an iOS Developer at Wipro, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mobile applications for various clients. Your primary focus will be on building scalable, efficient, and user-friendly iOS applications using Swift and other relevant technologies.

About the Role

  • Design and develop high-quality iOS applications for various industries and sectors.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data exchange between frontend and backend systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing sessions to enhance technical skills and adherence to coding standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in iOS development, including new frameworks, libraries, and tools.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of iOS fundamentals, including app lifecycle, application states, and multitasking.
  • Proficiency in Swift programming language, including syntax, features, and language constructs.
  • Experience in building user interfaces using UIKit framework, including view controllers, views, table views, collection views, and other UIKit components.
  • Familiarity with SwiftUI framework for building declarative user interfaces.
  • Knowledge of Core Data framework for data storage and management.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS), including implementing network requests, handling responses, and parsing JSON data.
  • Experience in managing multithreading, background tasks, and synchronization using Grand Central Dispatch (GCD).
  • Proficiency in designing responsive user interfaces using Auto Layout.
  • Familiarity with commonly used CocoaTouch frameworks for location services, graphics rendering, multimedia, etc.
  • Understanding of different app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER) and their benefits.
  • Proficiency in writing unit tests for iOS applications using XCTest framework.
  • Experience in practicing Test-Driven Development (TDD) for ensuring code quality and reliability.
  • Ability to debug and diagnose issues using Xcode debugger and Instruments.
