Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Validation Engineer to ensure the quality and integrity of our data.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Pandas, REST API, and testing with a solid understanding of data validation, data processing, and MongoDB.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Integrity: Validate data integrity across various sources including APIs, databases.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with data engineers and developers to understand data flows and ensure quality across the pipeline.
  • Python Scripting: Develop Python scripts using Pandas for data comparison, profiling, and anomaly detection.
  • RESTful API Testing: Test data against RESTful APIs for correctness, performance, and reliability.
  • Test Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • MongoDB Integration: Work with MongoDB for data storage, retrieval, and intermediate queries.
Required Skills:
  • Python and Pandas: Strong proficiency in Python and Pandas for data manipulation and testing.
  • Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience using tools like Postman, Pytest, or similar.
  • Data Validation: Experience with data validation, data profiling, and data quality frameworks.
  • MongoDB Knowledge: Familiarity with MongoDB and NoSQL data models is a plus.
  • Version Control: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
