Job Title: Asset Manager – Hospitality

This is a senior leadership role in hospitality and commercial real estate management, with responsibility for overseeing the performance and value of diverse assets.

The ideal candidate will have experience in asset management, financial analysis, and strategic planning, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Drive financial and operational performance across all hotel and restaurant assets
    • Lead budget finalization processes with operating partners to ensure ownership goals are aligned
    • Conduct regular performance reviews against budgets, analyzing deviations and implementing corrective action
    • Analyze revenue per available room (RevPAR), gross operating profit (GOP), average daily rate (ADR), occupancy rates, and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) trends to optimize return on investment (ROI)
    • Benchmark performance against industry data and STR reports to maintain competitiveness
  • Commercial Asset Management:
    • Manage leasing, tenant relationships, and yield enhancement at IT parks and future commercial developments
    • Oversee capital allowances, tenant compliance, facilities, and lifecycle maintenance
    • Develop monetization strategies through leasing, joint ventures, real estate investment trusts (REITs), or selective exits
  • Land Bank Development:
    • Drive development of land banks in key markets such as Kerala and Chennai
    • Floating requests for proposals (RFPs) for architects, contractors, and brand/operator tie-ups
    • Evaluate feasibility, design concepts, and financial models for new hotels, resorts, and mixed-use developments
    • Ensure timely execution and statutory approvals
  • Brand & Operator Engagement:
    • Identify and evaluate suitable hotel brands across segments
    • Negotiate management agreements and commercial terms
    • Govern operator relationships to ensure alignment with financial and brand objectives
  • Reporting & Strategic Input:
    • Maintain management information systems (MIS), dashboards, and board presentations on asset performance
    • Support the managing director in preparing investment strategy papers, pitch decks, and deal structuring
    • Track hospitality and real estate trends for informed decision making
