Are you a seasoned developer looking for a challenging role that combines SAS and Python expertise?

We are seeking an experienced programmer with strong hands-on skills in SAS application development, migration, and scalable solutions in modern data environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize applications using SAS and Python.
  • Migrate existing SAS programs, data pipelines, and statistical models to Python-based frameworks.
  • Analyze and define migration strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ensure performance optimization, data accuracy, and compliance during migration.
  • Develop reusable Python modules, automation scripts, and frameworks.
  • Work with engineering and analytics teams to integrate solutions with databases, cloud platforms, and reporting tools.
  • Support deployment, testing, and validation of migrated applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug code for performance and scalability.

Required Skills:

  • Strong Python programming skills (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark).
  • Hands-on experience with SAS programming (Base SAS, SAS Macros, PROC SQL, SAS Data Step).
  • Proven experience in SAS-to-Python migration projects.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience in ETL pipelines, data processing, and automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, statsmodels).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Exposure to DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD).
  • Background in BFSI or Healthcare domains.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of professional experience in Python and SAS development.
