**Senior Cloud Data Engineer Role Overview**

We are seeking a seasoned expert to fill the position of Senior Cloud Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and deploying large-scale data processing pipelines using cloud-native technologies.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Data Pipeline Design and Development: Develop scalable data pipelines on AWS cloud infrastructure utilizing services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and Amazon Redshift.
  • Data Processing and Transformation: Implement data processing and transformation workflows using Apache Spark and SQL to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Orchestration and Automation: Design and maintain orchestration workflows to automate data pipeline execution, scheduling, and monitoring.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
  • Optimization: Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness by leveraging AWS best practices and cloud-native technologies.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience: A minimum of 8+ years of experience in building and deploying large-scale data processing pipelines in a production environment.
  • AWS Experience: Hands-on experience in designing and building data pipelines on AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in AWS services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Amazon Redshift, and Apache Spark.
  • Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of data modeling, database design principles, and SQL and Spark SQL.
