The role of Purchase Manager Commercial Interiors involves overseeing the end-to-end procurement process for all materials and services needed for interior projects.

About This Role
  • You will be responsible for vendor onboarding, price negotiations, material sourcing, rate analysis, cost optimization, and timely delivery management.

This includes:

  • Identifying evaluating and onboarding new vendors to ensure a diverse and reliable supply chain;
  • Maintaining vendor performance records and ensuring compliance with quality standards;
  • Procuring required materials such as plywood laminates veneers gypsum boards paints and other fit-out essentials;
  • Forecasting project material requirements to ensure availability and avoid execution delays;
  • Negotiating competitive pricing and payment terms with suppliers;
  • Conducting rate analysis for all materials and services to ensure cost efficiency;
  • Maintaining updated costing sheets for internal budgeting and decision-making;
  • Implementing strategies to reduce material costs without compromising on quality;
  • Tracking and reporting cost-saving initiatives to management;
  • Creating and managing Purchase Orders POs and ensuring timely follow-up with vendors;
  • Coordinating material deliveries to meet project timelines;
  • Maintaining optimum stock levels and coordinating with the project team for site requirements;
  • Minimizing wastage and maintaining a clear audit trail of materials;
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers to improve pricing lead times and credit terms;
  • Resolving vendor disputes or delivery issues proactively;
  • E nsuring procurement activities comply with company policies quality standards and statutory regulations;
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for all procurement processes;
  • Working closely with project managers site engineers and finance teams for seamless execution;
  • Supporting the management team with accurate procurement-related reports.
