Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Description:

Umanist Staffing LLC is seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions using Java and Angular technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and define software requirements
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable and responsive web applications using Angular and Java
* Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless data interaction
* Optimize application performance and responsiveness
* Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices
* Identify and address technical debt and implementation gaps
* Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, and sprint planning
* Unit and integration testing of developed components
* Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the development team
* Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design feedback and enhance user interfaces
* Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in web development
* Support and troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
* Collaborate in an Agile development environment, adhering to Agile methodologies and best practices

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Proven experience in developing web applications using Java and Angular framework
* Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, Angular, and related technologies
* Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs
* Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
* Experience with version control systems such as Git
* Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment
* Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
* Knowledge of database systems and SQL
* Certifications in Java and Angular development (preferred)
