Job Title:

  • Financial Strategist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of capital structure and optimal financing options.
  • Track cash flow, manage accounting departments, and ensure accurate financial reports.
  • Lead the accounting team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Review and ensure timely GST and TDS filing.
  • Oversee MIS, cashflow and vendor ledger work.
  • Develop business models and forecasts for investors.
  • Plan expenses for the next quarter, half year, and FY.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly cash flows.
  • Assist in reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Manage tax compliance and internal/external audits.
  • Manage invoicing and processing vendor and other payments.

Main Objectives:

  • To be responsible for all cash management, investments, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • To drive the company's financial strategy and hiring needs.
  • To lead the development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets.
  • To ensure compatible cash flow with operations.
  • To develop and implement best practices and tools for strong fiscal management.
  • To comply with national and local financial requirements.
  • To work with founders to efficiently develop budget proposals.
  • To research revenue opportunities and economic trends.
  • To perform risk management through analysis of liabilities and investments.

Required Skills:

  • Five or more years of experience in financial and commercial roles.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in executive leadership/team handling role.
  • CA qualification or Master's degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance.
  • Experience in independently handling finalisation of books of accounts.
  • Experience working with founders/business leads on core strategic objectives.
  • Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning.
  • Working knowledge of how to raise capital through equity sale and traditional lines of credit.
  • Experience in handling fund raise mandates, due diligence, and investor relations.
